Kernal Panic mode! HOLD DOWN THE POWER.

somewhere in the last year my Mac G4 has decided a peripheral is not something it wants inside of it, or the base is just simply getting old. With this screen flashing on, more times then i can use anything to actually create anything to earn money to upgrade, buy a new Mac or basically check my email or Facebook, sadly i have to set this out there so clients and friends know i am not without guilt, that i cannot keep in touch, follow through on work either already started, almost done, or concepts in the works. Sadly, the realization that My G4 has been one fantastic tool in my last 9 years of life, flawlessly functional and sleek, is no longer reliable to run without loosing design mid save or flat out right dropping the files. so, i am putting all design work on hold until i can buy a more up to date Mini Mac or iMac with more speed and memory to accommodate the workload.

In the mean time, i will follow through on my strong interest in visuals once more, in response to sculpture, painting and of course, my favourite, pencil and marker sketches. Oh, there is that Graffiti interest with all the research i have been doing, so who knows, maybe those stencils i made will get used while waiting for Mac to come back?

Hats Off Burnaby!

So this is my first entry for Mrfrosty.

What is Mrfrosty Memos anyway? Well this is going to be a restoration blog to follow my activities  of what is done, how it is done and who helped or will be helping out and what the experience is like. This is my first vehicle project and it has been a long time sitting around, waiting for the right time. The Time is now.

For those of you who have just stepped into this blog, or who do not know, that Mrfrosty was once a human, and the name was then transfered to my Wagon,on account of it needed a name, and it is very much a Male. combined with the colour, of which I love and will be continuing with during the restoration with moderate additions.

To start my year off with a Bang, i am going to be involved with this years Hats off Day Show n Shine 2009 being held in Burnaby, BC. the following is a listing of all events directly copied form the website. It is a pretty fun filled day with a variety of activities for the whole Family, as cheesy as that may sound;)

Enjoy!

Taking our hats off to our community!

Hats Off Day 2009
Saturday, June 6
9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Hats Off Day will happen on Saturday, June 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. alongHastings Street between Boundary Road and Gamma Avenue. Be sure to join us!

Hats Off Day is when the Heights merchants "take their hats off" to their community and their customers and the entire Heights community celebrates together. It's a huge, one-day extravaganza featuring a colourful main-street style parade with real local flavour, and a big street party afterwards.

New to this year’s event is Il Girolino di Burnaby, a “Dash and Pedal” race for kids five to twelve years old. The race will be held on Hastings Street between Willingdon and Beta Avenues from 12 to 2 p.m. Click here for race and registration information.

The Hats Off Day Show & Shine classic and custom car show is back by popular demand. This year, the cars will be joining the parade and will be on display in a new location – on Hastings Street between Ingleton and Esmond Avenues. If you have a hot rod, muscle car, restored antique or a foreign model, we’d love for your vehicle to be a part of the Show & Shine!

Hats Off Day was voted "Burnaby's Best Festival" by Burnaby Now readers in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009!
